The College is seeking applicants for a full-time Assistant Professor of Business with an Accounting and/or Finance specialization to lead Alverno’s MBA program located in Milwaukee, WI. Responsible for leading Alverno’s MBA program as program director including budgeting, promotion, and student recruitment efforts.
Collaborating as part of an innovative and diverse business faculty inspired to provide transformative learning opportunities that prepare students for a variety of rewarding careers in the business field.
Responsible for teaching financial and managerial accounting courses to undergraduate and graduate students in an innovative ability-based and outcome-based curriculum that emphasizes active student learning and instructor feedback on student performance.
Departmental responsibilities include student advising, on-going curriculum development, and participation in college-wide faculty development meetings and experiences.
Doctorate in Accounting field, Master's Degree in Accounting, or MBA with an Accounting focus of at least 16 graduate credits in Accounting. CPA or CMA preferred.
Three to five years of relevant industry experience in either public or managerial accounting required.
Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Ability to lead the MBA program and innovate to maintain a vibrant learning experience for MBA students.
Ability to teach both MBA and undergraduate students in weekday, weekend, online environments and hybrid formats.
Demonstrated qualifications to teach courses in financial and managerial accounting.
A commitment to teaching within an innovative, outcome-based curriculum, and a willingness to work in a highly collaborative environment is required.
