Interview clients to understand current state pain points and opportunities, future state business needs, and functionality requirements
Conduct internal and external vendor market research to create high-value analyses and recommendations on leading solutions
Provide insights into leading practices across finance and HR functions including relevant ways in which organizations are leveraging modern technology
Build and communicate business cases with client leadership for investing in new technology
Develop technology implementation strategies which detail key activities and milestones, timing, and resource needs for the deployment of new technology
Possesses knowledge of key business processes (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Financial Close, Hire-to-Retire, Payroll, etc.)
Identifies issues, risks, and project team conflicts - suggesting solutions for timely resolution
Reviews status, manages schedules, monitors progress, tracks budget execution, and prepares status reports
Assesses and escalates project issues to leadership and suggests resolutions
Supports CrossCountry's leadership team on internal projects, including but not limited to the following: sales/marketing initiatives, recruiting, training, and organizational development
Required Experience & Qualifications
2-3 years of relevant experience in finance or HCM processes, systems, and deployments, with a thorough understanding of accounting, finance, and HR functions
Prior experience in professional services (public accounting or advisory firm), preferably at a large, global accounting firm or with a management consulting firm
Prior system strategy, selection, and/or implementation experience of Financial or HCM applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, ADP, Ceridian, Sage Intacct, Coupa, NetSuite, Concur, Microsoft Dynamics, Planful, Adaptive, etc.)
Prior experience managing client and/or internal teams by guiding performance against objectives, creating an atmosphere of trust and collaboration, modeling leadership behaviors, and encouraging continuous improvement/innovation
Excellent communication and presentation skills required
