The Corporate Accountant will join our team in St. Louis and be responsible for general accounting functions. They will work closely with our Chicago team on invoicing, AP processing, payroll, account reconciliations and analysis, etc. During our transition to a cloud-based ERP, the Corporate Accountant will be key in identifying areas that need improvement and automation and will gain experience assisting with the implementation of solutions and best practices.

Record business transactions (revenue, AP, payroll, etc.) in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and analyze unexpected variances in results
Assist with other accounting functions including sales tax reporting, expense reports, etc.
Own various monthly financial closing activities, procedures, journal entries and account reconciliations to support our financial close process
Work with team to drive process improvements and automate manual workflows to achieve efficiency and scalability on an ongoing basis
Assist with the annual audit and tax processes
Be part of implementation team for new cloud-based ERP system

Education and Experience Prerequisites:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
