Provide main, reception desk receptionist responsibilities for the Corporate Offices. Create a professional and welcoming environment for guests; greet guests and notify appropriate staff when a guest is waiting. Provide a live conversation for direct phone calls and rollovers coming to the main reception desk, and handle according to appropriate office protocol. Provide light administrative duties, as required.
Maintain reception desk coverage in the main lobby between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Ensure backup coverage is arranged at all times.
Greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner with friendly and courteous tone.
Notify appropriate staff of waiting guests.
Offer refreshments, hang coat, etc.
Provide access for deliveries; provide sign off, as needed.
Promptly answer phones for direct calls to the main number and rollover phones for staff members.
Handle the calls by either taking accurate message or transferring into voicemail as per the staff member’s preference.
Respond to general inquiries and forward calls to other departments, as appropriate.
Maintain a strong professional image, both personal and work area.
May assist with other administrative duties, as required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work primarily in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be prone to sitting for lengthy periods of time. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to hear objects, tools, or controls. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision. Lifting requirements may be required to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. No travel is required.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
2-3 years receptionist or administrative support experience in a professional office environment.
