Abbott Molecular Division is looking for a:
Financial Analyst (m/f/d) Europe, Middle East & Africa
based in Wiesbaden.
Financial forecasting and budgeting processes (monthly and quarterly forecasts) including analysis of performance and commentary preparation
Monthly actual reporting including in-depth variance analysis of actual results vs. benchmarks
Communication with countries to understand trends, variances and key opportunities/ risks
Supervise accounting processes of German affiliate
Preparation of month end accounts reconciliation
Preparation of ad hoc analyses to support management business decisions
Develop efficient tools based on management demand that support the business and improve current forecasting and reporting processes
Act as a consultant to Area Management and internal stakeholders to provide financial advice
Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance/Accounting. Preferably MBA or Qualified Accountant
Five years financial experience beyond university degree in both accounting and FP&A roles
Working experience with various financial forecasting and reporting systems (TM1, SAP, HFM)
Knowledge in working with and consolidating large datasets
Strong team player and business partner attitude to work with the countries
Demonstration of initiative, innovative thinking, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Strong analytical skills.
High result and process improvement orientation.
Adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently
Good communications skills both verbal and written
Customer oriented mindset
MS Excel proficiency. Database knowledge preferred.
Fluent in English, another European language is a plus
