Our client, a leading business services provider is looking for an experienced professional accountant to act as Associate Director for Management Accounting.
Purpose of Role
* Responsible for Service delivery within your department, delivering profitability and financial performance

* Lead Collaboration with other Vistra teams to ensure maximising any cross /up sell opportunities

To lead a team that provides accounting services to Vistra clients to include preparation of management accounts, monthly reporting, and payment services.
To keep up to date with accounting developments and to ensure any impact from these developments is properly understood and communicated to the clients in an efficient and effective manner.
To provide technical assistance to the other members of staff in management accounting department, including Vistra colleagues in Shared Service Centres.
To serve as primary contact person for escalations and ensure client satisfaction.
To ensure all work performed is invoiced in a timely manner, recording time as appropriate.
To provide support to internal and external Auditors in relation to client portfolio.
To ensure internal compliance requirements are kept up to date and submitted to relevant stakeholders within the required timeframe.
To monitor and review utilization & productivity of all team members.
To assist the identification and implementation of improved working processes.
To work with UK HR function for recruitment, illness & performance management.
To ensure working practices remain in line with the documented procedures as required to meet Vistra quality assurance levels.

Experience in working with different jurisdictions and dealing with external service providers, professional and third parties from different countries
Excellent understanding of financial and accounting concepts,
Minimum of 5 years post qualified experience.
Experience gained in practical environment (minimum 5 years)
Experience of managing a portfolio of clients preferable
