Our Treasury Services team supports various ministries across the US and Canada.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare monthly financial statements for assigned ministries.
• Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Communicate highlights of each ministry’s financials to Controller and ministry staff.
• Participate in meetings with ministry’s finance committees.
• Steward of fixed asset inventory and depreciation schedules.
• Recording of payroll and adjusting journal entries, credit card deposits for donations and event registrations, and credit card expenditures details with proper documentation.
• Database maintenance for changes of addresses, names, offering materials, etc.
• Assist in allocation and tracking of offerings and miscellaneous deposits.
• Communication of distribution of offerings to recipients, giving acknowledgements to donors, and regional giving reports.
• Stay abreast of trends and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance for the finance functions through industry meetings & trainings.
• Review financial reporting systems and controls to ensure compliance with ministry expenditure requirements.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• Ethical Conduct, collaborative, problem solving/analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Time management skills, highly organized and detail oriented.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Intermediate Excel Experience.
• This is not remote position; however, there will be both days in the office and days telecommuting.
