Responsible for developing the reporting and analysis providing senior leadership insights into the operating results and financial performance of the business and leading value-added analysis to profitably and responsibly growth to the business. This includes the development of mobile dashboards and key performance indicators that impact both industry and internal dynamics. In order to succeed, this individual will utilize relationship building, strong analytical skills and a continuous improvement attitude to maintain current reporting and analytics, as well as develop new metrics as needed to support Senior Management and the Investor Community. Collaborates with the Sr. Director of FP&A, CEO, CFO, VP Treasurer, VP Investor Relations and segment CFO's directly through the team's analysis of projects and acquisition targets.
Develops and manages the monthly management reporting process for PFG including all segments. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: timeline, templates, review meetings, scenario modeling, board material preparation and consolidation.
Analysis includes developing hypotheses, structuring problems/analyses, acquiring data through multiple systems (e.g., general ledger, data warehouse, Excel, Access), analysis and interpretation of results and communication of findings to management.
Collaborate on budget and forecast review by developing and providing existing trends models (internal and external) to key stakeholders including corporate and segment FP&A teams.
Conduct actionable data analysis on critical projects and investments such as new sales initiatives, new capacity initiatives, productivity opportunities, financial and capital structure, including assessment in financial markets and performance anticipating multi-year value creation per our sponsors.
Refine finance and strategy decisions across the organization, partnering with leadership in segment and corporate C-suite to develop and implement strategic business plans and operating initiatives; keep management apprised of financial results/issues and emerging trends.
Preparation of board presentations / materials. Answering board queries for performance and the associated reasons / driver.
Supervises associates to include, but not limited to staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.

5-7 years of experience in a public Fortune 500 company performing and directing Financial Planning & Analysis activities. Proven experience in financial communication with C-Suite and Board of Directors. Exceptional business acumen and communication skills with the ability to constructively explain business challenges to non-financial people as well as effectively work cross-functionally with a variety of different shareholders at multiple levels. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in order to analyze large, complicated problems. Strong interpersonal skills including ability to lead teams and influence senior executives. Excellent presentation skills including the ability to tailor information and delivery to the audience, manage pace timing and audience engagement; Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining short, mid and long-term planning and forecasting models. Experience in leading Capital planning processes; Demonstrated strategic thinking skill but an equal ability to "roll up your sleeves"; Working knowledge of financial toolsets such as TM1, Cognos, Access and data warehouse capabilities; Finance or accounting experience within the distribution industry.
