This position performs and manages a complex grant portfolio consisting of 300+ grants and contracts for Post Award Sponsored Programs Accounting for the Controller's Office to include analyzing grant activity to ensure compliance with both federal and state requirements; preparing quarterly & annual federal financial reports; ensuring maintenance of effort and matching requirements are met; ensuring that all federal funds received are accurately requested, received, expended & reported correctly & timely to the federal agencies in accordance with the Federal Cash Management Improvement Act. The position provides guidance and technical assistance to University departments in the management of their federal, state and other grants funds.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and 6 years professional accounting experience.
