About our client Our client is a globally renowned alternatives asset manager which is looking to hire a Senior FP&A Analyst to its renewable energy arm. This role will report to the Finance Director and will involve work across several European investments. Our client is one of the world's largest publicly traded renewable power platforms and is looking to invest capital to accelerate the global transition to next zero. Whilst responsible for the FP&A reporting for several renewable power businesses, this role will also work across valuation modelling and other financial, investment and strategic analysis. What the job involves
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) point of contact interacting with finance team members at the operating business, European corporate and North American corporate levels
Review monthly FP&A reporting submissions from operating businesses including development updates, contract profiles and performance against budget, and summarize for corporate reporting internally and to North America
Ensure integrity, accuracy and timeliness of financial information being reported on from operating businesses, both in quarterly reporting and other deliverables
Preparation of valuation models for internal reporting purposes including fund valuation models, PPE models and internal corporate models
Involvement in annual business planning and budgeting process involving uploading and consolidating inputs from operating businesses
Coordinate fund flows into and out of operating businesses and/or corporate holding companies
Who we are looking for
Undergraduate degree, ideally in Business, Accounting or Finance
Qualified Accountant and/or finance qualification with post qualification experience, preferably with industry experience
Strong analytical skills with solid attention to detail coupled with ability to think critically and see the "big picture"
An ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders of all levels across the organisation
Able to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
