Summary/Objective The Staff Accountant assists in the preparation of financial reports to provide the appropriate University personnel with the proper information. Maintain various accounting ledgers and records to ensure the University’s books are accurate. Review accounting transactions at the departmental level to make sure the accounting records are accurate and updated. This position assists the University Accounting Manager and Senior Staff Accountants with handling the accounting procedures in a functional area (Treasury Operations and Financial Reports, Special Funds and Projects, or Grants and Contracts) by analyzing accounting transactions, maintaining subsidiary ledgers and preparing financial report
