Advertised Job Summary:
The Fiscal Analyst serves in the Office of the Dean within College of Engineering and Computing. This position is responsible for processing accounting related actions and ensuring compliance with applicable USC, state, and federal regulations. The Fiscal Analyst assists the post award and budget areas with accounting transactions, data analysis and generation, and other financial needs. Process accounting related actions to include, but not limited to: journal entries, purchase orders, payroll retro journal entries, and budget transactions. Perform grant rebudgets in USCERA. Assist post award staff with data needs. Respond to requests from faculty for special reports, and assist with research and interpretation of data gathered. Monitor budgets in assigned college accounts, and perform entries as needed to maintain budgets. Ensure expenditures are appropriately classified, and make correcting entries as needed. Assist with the maintenance and daily operations of the college financial reporting system.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
