THE OPPORTUNITY: The Staff Accountant is a key member of the financial reporting team, supporting the Accounting Manager. This role works across the organization as a key partner to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The Staff Accountant is primarily responsible for Accounts Payable management and supports the Accounting Manager as needed with Accounts Receivable, Cash Management and other duties as required. The duties include supporting ongoing expense management activities, invoice processing, accruals, payroll posting, updating ledgers, month-end close activities, issuing checks, journal entries, American Express credit card processing, creating/updating expense reports, liaising with vendors, and generating financial reports.
