Pay Range: $70,425 - $114,440 / yearly

To manage the value based metric funds flow process for the School of Medicine clinical departments: forecasting, analysis and reporting. To collaborate with department chairs, executive administrators and Health System leadership in the development and monitoring of financial performance metrics. To conduct analysis and provide guidance as to how to best maximize each department's at risk dollars.
- Manages the ongoing value based metric process throughout the year. Determines the release of funds; manages the funds transfer process of earned dollars to the departments. Ensures the accuracy of all data reported to the department chairs; maintains documentation of supporting detail. Attends monthly meetings with department chairs and executive administrators to update financial status of metrics.
- Provides expert financial guidance to department chairs, executive administrators and Health System leadership to define and develop value metrics that align with the organization's strategic quality, finance and satisfaction pillars. Provides data necessary to quantify and compare the value of alternative business strategies.
- Manages monthly recognition of revenue and expense associated with the retail pharmacy; manages financial reporting. Develops annual budget; monitors performance and thoroughly explains any variances from expected revenues and expenses.
- Manages monthly accounting and financial reporting activities for the strategic initiative fund.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field and seven (7) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) preferred.
