The Accounts Payable Analyst position performs payment request and research functions which may include posting, updating, reconciling, auditing, and preparing invoices for payment. The position performs and researches the Accounts Payable exceptions analyzing and determining solutions.
Foster an environment to provide exceptional customer service to the Departments/Campuses by building positive relationships, communicating effectively, resolving problems/issues timely, and adhering to high standards of professional conduct.
Review and analyze the daily exceptions to determine solutions for clearing exceptions. Communicate with Purchasing and Departments/Campuses to assist with solutions for clearing the exceptions.
Prepare, review, and audit AP Upload payments for Accounts Payable which includes auditing, analyzing, and reviewing payments for accuracy and compliance with all University policies and procedures as well as state and federal laws and regulations. Ensure all payments are processed in a timely and accurate manner.

Assist in the review, analysis and evaluation of financial procedures in Accounts Payable for development of improvements in efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Associate's degree with 12 semester hours of accounting courses and 1 year of clerical accounting or bookkeeping experience; or high school diploma and 3 years related experience; or equivalent education and experience.
