Robert Half Executive Search has been exclusively retained by a highly recognized bank to identify a Director of Treasury and Merchant Services. This position will report directly to the President of Treasury and Merchant Services and have 4 direct reports.

The Director of Treasury and Merchant Services focus on these areas:

• Be a thought leader in the Payments space.
• Achieve all goals while managing to the key performance and key risk indicators established on an annual basis.
• Recruit, develop and retain team members.
• Provide direction for sales management routines.
• Actively participate in sales officer calls.
• Lead the collaboration with the Treasury Solutions implementation and service function.
• Continually evaluate and ensure we have maximized our vendor relationships.
• Develop and implement deposit pricing strategies for the commercial bank.
• Frequent collaboration with leaders cross-functionally and within department.
• Influence people with vision for process improvement initiatives.
• Seek to improve technology to assist in more efficient delivery of solutions.

Functional Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field
• Minimum ten years’ experience in banking, particularly in treasury management, cash management
• CTP preferred
• Demonstrated and proven treasury management results
• Ability to improve processes with clear examples of results
• Experience using technology to improve processes
• Demonstrated experience delivering cash management capabilities to midmarket companies
