Summary
Support the Chief Financial Officer services team. Perform duties and prepare reports relating to master bond ordinance activity, grants, internal audits, key performance indicators, compliance, quality assurance, and statistics on data.
Job Responsibilities
- Support, account for, and report on master bond ordinance activity related to both GLWA and Detroit Water & Sewerage Department
- Manage and report on all grant activity for the organization
- Lead and oversee the internal audit function
- Administer GLWA affordability initiatives and assistance programs
- Support the CFO with general Financial Services Area functions including Audit Committee coordination, key performance indicator reporting, business continuity and continuation of operation maintenance, and other related responsibilities as needed
- Identify issues and assist in resolution with the help of experienced team members and management
- Manage large amounts of information with regular changes and updates
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or closely related area
- Three (3) or more years of experience with financial and accounting reporting
- Valid Driver’s License required
