Essential Functions:

• Point person for annual external financial reporting which includes annual financial statement audits, NFL audits, special purpose agreed-upon procedures reports:
  • Coordinates audit related field work at interim and final
  • Supervises the administration of audit requests/coordinates with other members of department on audit requests (PBC’s)
  • Involved in drafting financial statements and other special purpose reports as needed
• Reviews monthly general ledger account reconciliations
• Reviews and updates documentation of internal accounting processes throughout the department
• Develops and implements recommendations to improve process efficiencies
• Identifies opportunities to use technology to achieve better overall outcomes
• Serves as the point person for the completion of other projects and reports as needed

Skills & Abilities:

• Great attitude and communication skills

• Proficiency with MS Office is required
• Very strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Efficient work habits and organizational skills

Experience & Education:

• Accounting Degree
• CPA designation preferred – ideally with broad exposure to a variety of clients across multiple industries
• Prior experience with Vena is a plus

The Company is a professional, fast-paced, creative business environment. Other environment conditions:

• Extended evening, weekend work hours sometimes required
• Demanding work environment in executing work on short deadlines
• Computer and desk work a significant part of daily activities
