The Assistant Controller is a senior member within the Office of Finance and Accounting (OF&A). S/he oversees key finance functions and supports the Deputy CFO/Controller with OF&A's management, safekeeping, and integrity of the Smithsonian's financial assets and financial operations. S/he works closely with the Deputy CFO/Controller to implement finance and accounting procedures and policies; prepares timely and accurate reporting of financial data and maintains effective internal controls. Duties General Management and SupervisionProvide technical direction for OF&A, supervision and coordinates projects of OF&A’s general accounting, accounting operations, risk management
