The Social Work Office of Research and Public Service (SWORPS) within the College of Social at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville is an applied research center. We are a dynamic and close-knit interdisciplinary team of individuals with shared vision of thriving communities with equitable outcomes for all. SWORPS has worked with government, nonprofits and across university departments for over 50 years. Who We Are Looking For:
A motivated individual with a positive attitude who will use their financial expertise for not only accuracy and financial health but to deliver superior service to principal investigators (PI) and the overall SWORPS team. This will be done through organization, policy/procedure guidance, forecasting, proposal preparation & attention to detail. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong research administration interest who wants to grow alongside the unit they are supporting and further develop their pre and post awards skills. This position will report to the Assistant Director of Budget, Finance & Operations in SWORPS Business Office and collaborate with the College, University & Sponsors.
