Job description: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank and ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal financial regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes.
• Assist in the preparation of year-end tax documents and audits.
• Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of the education sector is a plus, but not mandatory.
