The Client Finance business unit is responsible for managing overall client operating plans across many properties and facilities under Cushman & Wakefield management (ranging from commercial, retail, industrial assets).
The Senior Financial Analyst supports the Head of Client Finance by driving the delivery of accounting and financial services to internal stakeholders and external clients.
About the role:
Preparation and delivery of Month end journals for Outgoings & Utilities, including the commentary around the key variances from the budgets
Managing the day-to-day financial operations across the portfolio, including rent roll payments, invoicing, and financial reconciliations
Collaborates with the leasing team to ensure accurate and timely recording of leasing financials, including rent escalations, lease incentives and tenant recoveries
Conduct financial modelling and scenario analysis to evaluate leasing proposals, renewals, and other financial decisions
Maintaining records/evidence for SOX compliance
Preparing monthly dashboards, ad-hoc reports and provide key information/analytics for business cases
Preparing and ensuring timely, accurate delivery and presentation of client(s) annual rental commitments from a P&L, Balance Sheet and cashflow perspective under AASB16
This role will involve supporting the Transaction managers, Lease managers and wider finance in preparing operational/financial reporting
Collaborate with other internal finance and leasing teams to ensure proper accounting treatment, financial compliance and to implement financial controls of best practice
Comfortable in the details and with large data sets and analysis
Clear and effective communication skills, including the ability to translate finance/ reporting outcomes to non-finance client stakeholders
Experienced Qualified Accountant (CPA/CIMA/CFA or CA) preferred
Knowledge and experience of AASB16 Lease accounting preferred
Knowledge and experience of Internal Control Frameworks (SOX) preferred
Advanced Excel Modelling
JD Edwards, Power BI and Anaplan system knowledge an advantage
