We are an established, growing public accounting and financial services firm in the northwestern and  western suburbs of Chicago seeking a full-time senior accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone with experience in public accounting, an affinity for client service and the ability to contribute to a team.

Responsibilities
•    Prepare corporate, partnership and individual tax returns
•    Prepare financial statement compilations and reviews
•    Performs audits for employee benefit plans and for-profit entities
•    Work directly with clients
•    Support client business owners to help enhance the value of their companies
•    Serve as in-charge on client engagements
•    Train and mentor staff accountants

•    Bachelor’s degree in accounting 
•    Successful completion of (or progressing toward) the CPA exam
•    Minimum of three (3) years of relevant public accounting experience, including tax and audit
•    Understands the importance of complying with deadlines and schedules
•    Adept at technology and accounting software; knowledge of Thomson Reuters CS Professional Suite a plus
•    Solid communication, organization and analytical skills
•    Ability to work well with a team and able to work independently
•    Committed to professional development and willingness to contribute to the growth of the firm
