Due to an internal move, we are hiring a Corporate Accounting Manager. In this role you will be responsible for several aspects of Land O’Lakes monthly, quarterly and year-end preparation, analysis and reporting of the consolidated financial statement results. In addition, you will oversee the consolidation of the Company’s financial statements in accordance with GAAP within established timelines.
This role is based at our corporate headquarters in Arden Hills, MN (Hybrid work arrangement each week 2-3 days)
Additional Responsibilities:

Lead a team of 6 direct reports.

Review journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.

Responsible for reviewing and delivering the monthly board financial statements.

Coordinate and monitor preparation of supporting schedules for the year-end audit and serve as a point of contact with the auditors.

Ensure accounting controls are in place and operating effectively. Own maintenance of internal control documentation including documentation of new controls, changes in controls and spreadsheet security. Lead effort for department to periodically test controls to ensure accuracy and reliability of consolidated information.

Work with team members on special projects.
Education/Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting; CPA required.

A minimum of 5+ years progressive experiences in accounting required.

Previous team leadership experience required.

Proficient with Excel (Advanced), Word, and Power Point.
