We are partnering with a leading Global Private Equity Firm which is looking to hire a Junior Accountant to their Luxembourg office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a hardworking and ambitious team that plays a pivotal part in the Fund Operations and Fund Management of the firm. You will gain valuable experience working within a lean Finance team, closely alongside senior management and collaborating with other teams around the globe. This is a great chance to join one of the largest and most successful investment firms working across a breadth of accounting and finance in a fast-paced environment. What the job involves

• Recording of daily bookkeeping and processing of payments and deal related cash flows
• Assist in the preperation of financial statements, VAT and corporate tax returns
• Assist in the preperation of periodic reporting to the Luxembourg Central Bank & CSSF
• Assist the audit process
• Intercompany account reconciliation
• Assist in a wide variety of projects as assigned

Who we are looking for

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Practical experience acquired during education
• Knowledge of Lux GAAP
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to prioritise workload, multi-task and produce high-quality work even when working to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
• Strong organisational skills and detail oriented
