Assistant General Manager – Finance & Risk Management
The City of Glendale spans approximately 30.6 square miles with a population of about 203,054. Glendale Water &  Power (GWP), a municipal utility, serves over 34,000 water and 90,000 electric customers. Reporting to the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager – Finance & Risk Management (AGM) is the chief financial officer and financial advisor to GWP, managing the Utility Finance and Risk Management Division.  GWP seeks an individual who has demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of utility finance, is familiar with rate setting and charges, and has a foundational understanding of capital investment, debt issuance and management, and auditing. Strong interpersonal skills that establish credibility and trust with stakeholders will be expected.
