- 230000028P General Description: The University of Tennessee Municipal Technical Advisory Service (MTAS) seeks applications for a Municipal Finance Training Specialist in its Nashville or Jackson office. MTAS is an agency of the University of Tennessee Institute for Public Service that provides technical assistance, consulting, training and research services for Tennessee towns and cities. The Municipal Finance Training Specialist has responsibility for all aspects of the MTAS Certified Municipal Finance Officer (CMFO) Program. In addition to providing program design, curriculum development, examination development, training material development and classroom delivery, the position updates, validates, and assesses the program on an on-going basis.
