If you have a background in public accounting or internal auditing in a corporation or large nonprofit organization, you might be the perfect fit for our team. We are looking for someone who has 2-3 years of public accounting experience in a public accounting firm who can also take on challenging tasks, grow with our company, and gain diverse experience. Additionally, you will have access to extensive continuing professional education opportunities as well as access to Becker CPA Review Course to assist in passing the CPA exam or Gleim Review Course to assist in passing the CIA exam at no cost to you. For internal audit engagements, some travel to client locations within the U.S. as needed. We have a hybrid work environment and a 4 ½ day work week. The work day ends on Friday at 1:00 CST, unless a specific engagement requires some additional tasks.
- To plan, perform and manage financial audits of nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and small businesses that receive government revenue.
- To plan, perform and manage single audits of nonprofit organizations and government
- To plan, perform and manage internal audits and other attestation
- To assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit reports for nonprofit organizations and small businesses that receive government revenue.
- To assist in the maintenance and development of firm audit processes and
- To supervise and review workpapers for staff auditors/accountants.
- To assist in the performance of various other consulting projects.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required
- Master’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
