Hybrid remote work is available! The successful candidate will work in the office while training then can collaborate with the hiring manager on a remote work schedule after training is complete.
The goal of this recruitment is to fill this position at an internal auditor 2 level. However, we encourage candidates who meet the minimum qualifications for an internal auditor 1 ($4,672 - $6,901) to apply, as we may consider underfilling the position until the selected candidate meets the minimum qualifications for an internal auditor 2. Underfill training will not exceed three years.
Comprehensive and equitable base salary offer within the listed range based on your experience, skills and education. The salary range listed is the non-PERS participating rate. 5 years of experience performing professional level auditing, investigations, compliance, policy/program, or work closely related to the agency mission.
A bachelor’s degree in business-related field such as business or public administration, finance, economics, computer science, accounting; or a field specific to the agency's mission AND 2 years of experience performing professional level auditing, investigations, compliance, policy/program, or work closely related to the agency mission.
Minimum qualifications for an internal auditor 1 (underfill):
3 years of technical experience providing foundation experience to auditing.
A bachelor's degree in a business-related field such as business or public administration, finance, economics, computer science, accounting; or a field specific to the agency's mission; or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills.

Currently have a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or have passed the exam.
Accounting experience in the architectural or engineering industry.
