Under the general supervision of the Controller, the Assistant Controller is responsible for the oversight of bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and financial statement reporting. The individual is an integral part of the Finance Office team and will provide and implement best practices in higher education accounting. Candidates should demonstrate responsiveness toward and understanding of diverse student backgrounds, especially with regard to socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, culture, ability/disability, sexual orientation, and gender identity and have a willingness to facilitate the university’s mission to develop global citizens.
