The primary purpose of this position is to support the Real Estate Foundation and the University's Treasurer's Office by managing all university and third-party attempts to collect on student accounts with the collections cycle in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all charges on student accounts and performing financial and systems analysis for financial reporting purposes and to suggest and implement process changes and improvements.
Provide support to enterprising operations of the Real Estate Foundation's Event Center to collect outstanding receivables on a monthly basis.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit:
The Real Estate Foundation offers office accommodations for University Relations, Alumni Relations and administrative offices for the Real Estate Foundation. It also is the principal site for the Alumni Foundation Event Center and its staff.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with 12 credit hours of accounting coursework; or Associate's degree in Accounting; or Associate's degree in Business or related discipline with 12 credit hours of accounting coursework; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Preferred:
Three to five years' experience in non-profit accounting field as property accountant. Three to five years' experience in management of real estate/commercial properties.
