The Staff Accountant will work closely with our Senior Accountants to record and reconcile daily cash and accounts receivable transactions within Banner. This position also assists with annual closing activities to ensure accurate annual financial statements and related schedules.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1) Provide support for daily cash activities by:
Assisting with the daily incoming ACH and wire transfers, and
Providing cash-related information for the independent external audit.
2) Process and reconcile third-party accounts receivable transactions.
3) Review and record inter-account journal vouchers for all WKU departments.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting.
Previous work experience in an office setting.
Additional Information:
Salary Range: $45,000 - $51,800 based on experience
