Hiring/Budgeted Salary or Hourly Range: The budgeted salary range that the university reasonably expects to pay for this position is $75,000 - $80,000
Full Salary Range: The full salary range for the position is $71,027 - $90,150
Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience; the budget for the position; and the application of fair, equitable, and consistent pay practices at the university.

We are seeking an Accounting Supervisor to work remotely on a full-time 37.5-hour per week basis.
Summary
The Accounting Supervisor directs, coordinates and serves as a primary supervisor for the Accounting/AP Specialist position, which is responsible for Accounts Payable, Financial Reporting, and Reconciliations. The Accounting Supervisor will report to and work closely with the Controller in the analysis and reconciliation of accounts and in the development of accounting policies, procedures and controls.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Experience: (Amount and kind)
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience using accounting and financial systems software
• 2 years’ minimum supervisory experience
• Experience participating in at minimum one annual financial audit
• Experience in a higher education environment preferred
• Thorough knowledge of US GAAP, state and federal law, and FGU accounting policies, including internal controls
• Knowledge of Ellucian Colleague or other ERP system required
