GSK is currently looking for an Oncology Finance Partner to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This role serves as the finance point for finance partnering activities related to strategy and decision making with critical business insights. This person will partner extensively with Commercial Business Unit Directors, their teams, and matrixed partners to ensure financial targets are met and business ambition is adequately supported by Finance. This role will support teams with in-line and pipeline assets.

The ability to comprehend and explain complex financial information and analysis to all levels of stakeholders across GSK and establish strong relationships with those stakeholders. The incumbent will also have demonstrated the ability to manage multiple priorities as well as the ability to work independently and take the initiative when needed.

Scope includes providing support to the US Oncology Business Unit leadership and commercial teams, forecasting, trade and insights and analytics teams to understand and interpret business data and insights into financials.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the US Oncology Business Teams on all aspects of business partnering and provide financial assistance to the members of the Oncology Business Unit for all elements within the BU Finance Partner role:
Strategy and Performance Management: Assist ICBT teams in development and refinement of financials in line with strategy and market understanding. Ensure strong KPIs and expectations are clearly constructed and support appropriate assessment of performance.
Data driven resource management and decision making: Support the Brand teams to ensure funding decisions are aligned to strategy and optimized using insights such as marketing mix models and market research to maximize impact and margin enhancement.
Delivery of key planning, forecasting and performance cycles: Support creation, accuracy and timely submission of key financial processes such as Core Commercial Cycle (CCC), Plan, Operating Plan, Marketing Mix, Monthly Consensus Forecast (MCF), FRCs and eFRCs and monthly deliverables.
Organization engagement: Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and ad hoc management commentary and presentations. Navigate and lead in a cross function matrixed environment.
Continuous improvement mindset and focus: Drive standardization, simplification, and improvement of systems and processes

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics or Business (or equivalent degrees with Finance qualification e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, or local equivalent)
5+ years’ experience of financial support
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Good knowledge of GSK Finance standards, systems, and processes, such as SAP/CERPs and Bison
Experience of working in a business advisory environment – analyzing complex data and clearly presenting insights and complex financial information in a simple and compelling way to non-finance audiences.
Experience of working in matrix organizations and complex change management projects. Ability to interact across a wide group of stakeholders.
Excellent influencing and engagement skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and challenge based on expertise and personal credibility.
Experience working in business / functional unit / commercial P&L environment - it is considered desirable (but not essential) to have experience of financial partnering in a contract central environment within GSK or elsewhere.
Demonstrated financial knowledge of modeling, analysis, evaluation, forecasting, strategic planning, and decision making.
Experience and understanding of change leadership and continuous improvement tools.
Effective knowledge of all accounting standards, including IFRS, US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley.
Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by creation of a network of key partners within Finance and the business and the ability to bridge communications gap between finance and non-finance.
