The Program Operations Accountant assists all programs at agency to control expenses and maximize resources. The position utilizes education and training to make sound business decisions, ensuring compliance with local, state and federal regulations. It leverages knowledge of programmatic requirements, financial systems, policies, and processes, exercising discretion and independent judgment in projects and business operations.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Preferences: Governmental accounting experience/knowledge; One (1) year of supervisory experience
Substitutions: High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years’ experience
My Health My Resources of Tarrant County (MHMR) provides community-based services for youth and adults with mental health conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and substance use disorders, as well as babies and young children with developmental delays. MHMR uses a person-centered care approach and partners with community organizations to provide services and a hopeful future. MHMR is a unit of local government with a Board of Trustees appointed by Tarrant County Commissioners Court.
