- Assist the Associate Controller with the maintenance of records of fund participation in the endowment investment pool (processing investment, gift and other activity into Banner endowment management system and general ledger). Assist with administrative functions and maintaining accurate investment accounting records for all of the college?s investments and split-interest arrangements, including charitable gift annuities, pooled income funds, and trusts (processing trading and other investment activity; reconciling and verifying activity to bank and other records; recording related activity into the Banner general ledger and endowment management system).
- Assist the Associate Controller with reconciliations of gift revenue, particularly contributions receivable between Finance and Advancement modules. Assist with maintenance of accounting records for contributions receivable (annual rollforward). Assist with ensuring any reconciling items are resolved with the Advancement Office.
- Assist the Associate Controller with the maintenance of the Banner Finance system security access for the Finance module.
- Assist the Associate Controller with the monitoring of departmental email boxes such as investments, accounting, bursar, cash management and purchasing and support work associated with this email activity as well as responses required.
- Post and reconcile payments to proper ledger accounts and student accounts; verify deposits of Advancement gift proceeds; follow-up with Advancement/other departments on any discrepancies; balance daily cash receipt batches and reports between general ledger and cash drawer.
- Post journal entries to the Banner Finance general ledger system.
