This position has primary responsibility for all financial activities of the District, which include providing complete and accurate financial information, monitoring accounting systems and controls to safeguard the District’s assets, and improving the accounting and reporting functions by staying current with accounting pronouncements and technology changes. Typical Duties Include: Fulfill the statutory duties of the position of Accountant as defined and set forth in the California Municipal Utility District Act (CPUC §11940) Management of District budgeting process with departmental input, and administer departmental expenses under the guidelines of District policy, General Manager’s approval and the approved annual budget; monthly analysis and repo
