Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 Process payments for student-athlete revenue share and severance, ensuring accuracy of coding and compliance with applicable tax regulations

Job Duty 2 Process payments for independent contractors (1099 workers) ensuring accurate and timely payments

Job Duty 3 Reconcile independent contractors (1099 workers) payments, manage service entries, and resolve payment-related issues.

Job Duty 4 Review and interpret contracts to understand contract terms and create financial transactions/ schedules as appropriate

Job Duty 5 Create journal entries to allocate expenses in accordance with budget guidelines

Job Duty 6 Assist in the tracking, reporting, and projection of expenses

Job Duty 7 Individual in this role will be trained to provide support in maintaining balance sheet ledger accounts to include: ensuring financial transactions are coded and classified correctly, reconciling accounts, and assisting in the creation of financial statements

Job Duty 8 Individual in this role will be trained to perform balance sheet accounting processes that are compliant with 501(c)(3) reporting standards.

Job Duty 9 Individual in this role will be trained to assist in accounting for capital assets including account reconciliations for equipment, buildings, infrastructure and facilities and other improvements

Job Duty 10 Individual in this role will be trained to prepare audit lead schedules and supporting documentation and provide account analysis.

Job Duty 11 Serve as a liaison between internal and external audit agencies and financial units for annual financial statement audits.

Job Duty 12 Complete other duties as assigned by Associate Athletic Director- Controller and Assistant Athletic Director- Financial Operations
