Provides assistance in the preparation and maintenance of the general ledger. This includes the recording, balancing, and reporting of revenues / receipts, expenditures and fixed assets; preparing monthly journal entries and reconciliation of numerous balance sheet accounts, including researching and correcting variances on reconciliations. Other responsibilities include assisting with the annual audit, monthly status reports, monthly actual to budget variance analysis, month-end close, investment analysis, the annual budgeting process and several surveys/reports. Occasionally, scanning and backup for Accounts Payables/Payroll.
Professional/Educational
Bachelors Degree in Accounting preferred.
Two to four years minimum professional accounting experience required.
Working knowledge of GAAP is preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Quickbooks.
