Lead Financial Analyst (Cedars-Sinai Medical Center; Los Angeles, CA): Develop complex financial documents, recommend improvements to existing procedures, and provide both high-level and detailed reports to management. Present findings to management. Summarize information, data, and recommendations, and prepare presentation materials. Research and resolve complex inquiries, troubleshoot, and implement resolution. Coordinate with other members of finance and management to review financial information and forecasts. Establish, delegate, and monitor the workflow for a team of financial analysts and other department staff. Provide on-going training, guidance, and work direction to other analysts. Apply federal and state regulatory and licensing requirements, as well as organizational by-laws, rules and regulations, and policies and procedures to all assigned projects. Telecommuting permitted from within the U.S.
Salary: $104,998 - $168,001 per year
Qualifications
Minimum requirements: Bachelor?s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related field, plus five (5) years of experience as a Lead Financial Analyst, Accountant, or related occupation.
Must have experience with the following: SQL query writing; Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP) accounts receivable (AR) valuation for healthcare providers; managed care finance (calculating expected reimbursement based on contracts with payors, including Medicare Diagnosis Related Groups (DRGs)); healthcare revenue cycle; and EPIC related to hospital billing: navigating the system to investigate and extract information (coding, charges, payments, and notes).
