Schedule: Full Time Days

Shift:  Monday – Friday; 40 hours a week  

Location: Woodland Hills Building

The community you’ll be caring for:

At AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, formerly Shawnee Mission Medical Center, you're more than just a number on a chart. The role you’ll contribute:

Prepares monthly journal entries, completes various balance sheet reconciliations, assists in preparing monthly financial statements, and prepares bank reconciliation’s.  Assists Department Managers and Administration with special requests.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

·         Verifies all documents and spreadsheets for accuracy before distribution.

·         Administers safeguards to insure the accuracy of financial statements, tax returns, audit work papers, fixed asset records, and departmental statistics.

·         Reconciles various balance sheet accounts to assure accuracy.

·         Prepares for high work load time of the year.  Assesses the work load assigned during monthly closing, yearly budget and year end audits.

·         Takes initiative to complete job requirements and assumes responsibility in the financial process.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

·         Bachelor’s Degree

·         Up to 1 Year of Position-Related Experience
