Job Summary: The Facilities Associate I, under moderate supervision, assists in the organization and coordination of office operations, procedures, and resources.
Additional Department Summary: This position will report to the Accountant II in Property & Inventory Management and manage day-to-day operations related to, but not limited to, updating and maintaining all aspects of the GovDeals online auction system for internal department activity and external public sales.
Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and a minimum of two (2) years of general office experience.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Final candidates who are not current University of Alabama employees must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.
Skills and Knowledge: Exceptional interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Adept at multi-tasking. Extensive computer knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in standard application software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe). Organized and self-motivated work ethic.
