The Department of Accounting and Taxation in the Stillman School of Business seeks to hire a full-time Lecturer, Director of Graduate Accounting Programs, and Undergraduate Student Adviser to teach accounting courses, to advise?accounting students, and oversee our graduate programs in accounting. This nontenure-track appointment commences with the 2025-26 academic year, beginning August 25, 2025
Duties and Responsibilities:
• teach three course sections per semester; • advise undergraduate and graduate students in accounting and taxation; • support the?Department?Chair in scheduling courses, reviewing assurance of learning outcomes, and recommending continuous improvements to the curricula; • promote graduate coursework to undergraduate and other prospective students; • assist the Graduate Admissions Director when recruiting prospective graduate students; • attend regular meetings called by the Dean; • fulfill service requirements typical of all full-time faculty in the Department.
Required Qualifications:
A graduate degree in?accounting or a related?field.? University teaching experience, either full or part-time, with a demonstrated commitment to excellence. Work experience?in the accounting profession. ?
Desired Qualifications:
Past experience as an academic advisor. Past experience as a student extracurricular adviser, such as Beta Alpha Psi and other student organizations.
Licenses and Certificates:
Certified Public Accountant (active or inactive)
