POSITION SUMMARY: The Financial Reporting Manager assists the Controller in ensuring that financial transactions are recorded and reported in accordance with GAAP and Foundation policies and procedures. This is a hybrid role based in Bethesda, MD, and requires 2-3 days per week in the Bethesda office. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Support accounting operations by serving as a back-up to the Assistant Controller. Assist the Controller with researching and documenting new accounting pronouncements and their impact to the Foundation’s financial statements and operations. Assist with providing guidance on implementation considerations like new processes or coordination with other departments needed.
