General Description: The Senior Grant Accountant position is responsible for providing independent guidance and oversight to principal investigators and department administrators in regard to grant and contract policies and procedures, compliance and regulatory issues, and post-award administration. This individual must demonstrate an advanced knowledge and understanding of federal and non-federal regulations, guidelines, and policies covering grant and contract processes. This person must have a working knowledge of post award accounting and financial reporting, performing internal audits of grants and contracts to ensure compliance with university and funding agency requirements.
