The Boise Baroque Orchestra, founded in 2003, is led by Artistic Director, Robert Franz. This 30 member professional orchestra performs primarily music written before 1800 with the use of Baroque bows and on modern instruments. Each August, the Boise Baroque Summer Music Festival features 4-weeks of pairs of concerts. Saturday nights the orchestra performs in the acoustically brilliant First Presbyterian Church in downtown Boise and Sunday nights outdoors at the picturesque Chateau des Fleurs in Eagle, Idaho.
